Huzzah! While I am not always the best about my challenge update posts throughout the year (stay tuned for a doozy, y’all), Linz and I are having so very much fun creating our annual reading challenges, and it appears a good number of the general public have found our challenge entertaining as well… so let’s keep doing it, shall we?
This year, in fact, is a very special year – this is the 5th year that Linz and I have collaborated on the reading challenge (see 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 in the archives). In celebration, we’ve included some 5th anniversary themed challenge prompts, and two very special prompts to select books from your hosts’ previously read archives. We’ve also both recently joined the StoryGraph and added our challenge to their challenge directory. Come play along with us!
As always, the challenge is organized into 5 levels of 12 prompts. This is a choose-your-own-adventure challenge. Play however you like: pick your challenge level of choice and try to complete everything within the levels… or just bounce around and see how many you can check off. Or be a completionist. One of these years I will get through all the categories, I swear! You can download a printable PDF to keep track of all the categories and your selections to fulfill them here.
Now, on to the challenge! Don’t forget to let us know in the comments if you’re playing along. What’s your favorite category from this year’s list?
